Comptons New Media/SofKey/Larousse
An evaluation of existing arrangements with a sole distributor in the UK revealed that Comptons was not achieving the level of market penetration with their educational software products that they had originally targeted and a complete review of the sales channels was carried out by us on their behalf. By evangelising the brand to the retail channel the profile of the company was raised within the UK and consequently distribution was opened to a wider audience of purchasers. SoftKey became suitors and subsequent owners of the company in the USA and Solution Marketing was retained to continue to develop both the retail channels and to implement a strategic alliance with Larousse of France who had a portfolio of relevant content for future software developments
