The company approached Solution Marketing on
the basis that they had been frustrated by weak
distribution in the UK and Northern Europe. We
were tasked with improving their market
penetration by establishing core relationships
within the distribution network and by driving the
brand into the retail sector. This was
successfully achieved by us in the UK, Germany
and very notably Scandinavia. Within twelve
months MediaVision had emerged from Chapter
11 in the USA to a company that had a saleable
portfolio of products (sound cards) and an
extensive network of distributors in both the USA
and Northern Europe. The company's exit
strategy was completed with a sale of the
business very soon after it had achieved its
targets.
